All you hear is silence, and your calls and emails go unanswered. A year later, your significant other comes back and acts as if nothing has happened. What is going on, and what do you do?

The Proposal

Your protagonist receives an interesting proposal from a friend: pretend to date for one month so that the love interest can get a promotion. The company is family-oriented, so the love interest needs someone with whom to attend dinners and other work functions. What happens?
