You look down to see you’re wearing a blue gingham dress and red heels. Toto yaps beside you. You are Dorothy! How did you get there, and what do you do next?

The Box

When you return from running errands, you find a box with your name scribbled on it on your dining room table. Your roommate is gone, so you assume she left it there for you. There’s no address or postage, so whoever left it for you must have dropped it off. You open the box and stare into an inky black void. What happens next? What do you do?

The Alien

You hear a knock at the door. You aren’t expecting anyone, but you answer the door anyway. A gray-skinned man with an oblong head and bug eyes stares back at you. He has two holes where his nose should be and no mouth. He hands you a note that says he’s from Effelior, a far away planet in a far away galaxy. He doesn’t speak, but he can communicate with you through writing. What do you do?

The Nightmare
